Forum planned with principal hopefuls

The Central Valley School District will host a Meet the Principal Candidates forum Tuesday from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at Summit School, 612 S. McDonald Road.

Principal Lyle Krislock is retiring from the school after 34 years in education. The district is looking for input from the community in the selection process.

Each candidate will spend about 30 minutes speaking of their qualifications and answering questions from the audience. Attendees will be asked to submit written feedback about the candidates to the selection committee.

Summit School serves 345 kindergarten through eighth-grade students from all over the Central Valley School District. The school earned the Washington Innovative School designation earlier this year and usually has a waiting list for enrollment.

For more information, call the Central Valley district office at (509) 228-5400.
