Decomposing body found south of I-90
Spokane Police were investigating Sunday evening after decomposing human remains were discovered near West 14th Avenue and South Milton Street.
Children playing nearby found the body in a wooded area about 4:40 p.m., according to police. The location is south of Interstate 90 and west of U.S. 195.
Police hadn’t identified the gender of the body as of Sunday evening, according to a news release, and major crimes detectives and a forensics unit were on scene.
