Patricia (Pat) Marie Mills, 75, of Spokane passed away on May 7, 2012.
Pat was born on July 31, 1936 in Chicago, Illinois to Peter and Berniece Currie.
On November 23, 1957 Pat married Barney Mills, and they were married for 52 beautiful years.
Although she spent many of her years residing in other cities across the nation, Spokane was her home for the past 30 years.
During her travels, Pat made numerous friends and kept many of them since grade school.
Pat absolutely loved the ocean and frequently visited the Oregon coast with her husband and children.
Throughout her years, Pat was truly loved by her family and everyone who knew her.
She often enjoyed working with her flowers, reading, and playing with her dogs.
Pat is preceded in death by her parents, Peter and Berniece Currie; her husband, Barney Mills; and her son, Doug Mills.
She is survived by her son, Jeff Mills; her daughter, Mindy Mills; her daughter-in-law, Jill Mills; her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Amanda Johnson (Matt), Melissa Mills, Amber Spies (Gary), Daniel Potvin, Jennifer Potvin LaCour, Kiarra Walker, Leondra LaCour, Mack and Claire Spies, and many other family and friends.
Pat’s children, Jeff and Mindy, welcome you to join in a celebration of Pat’s life on June 2nd at 3 PM at Pat’s home.
The ceremony will begin at 4 PM.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations are made to the Spokane Shriners Hospital or the Spokane Humane Society.
Pat will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
