Airman found dead in Fairchild dormitory Saturday

An airman attending training at Fairchild Air Force Base was found dead in his dormitory on Saturday morning, a news release from the U.S. Air Force said. Airman 1st Class John Bradshaw, a first term enlistee whose service began in December, was pronounced dead at 8:15 a.m. The cause of his death is under investigation, the release said. Bradshaw was attending training at the Survival Evasion Resistance and Escape (SERE) School and was not stationed at Fairchild, said Sgt. Jennifer M. Buzanowski, assistant superintendent of public affairs. Fairchild officials declined to release Bradshaw’s hometown.
