Spokane Valley woman in serious condition after accident
A Spokane Valley woman is in serious condition after an accident Tuesday in North Spokane which she disregarded flaggers at a construction site, drove around a line of traffic, and collided with a semi head-on.
Lindsey Pearson, 22, was driving north on Market Street, south of Hawthorne Road, where flaggers are controlling the traffic flow, a news release from the Spokane County Sheriff’s Office said.
Pearson was airlifted to a local hospital, the release said.
Failing to obey an authorized flagger is a misdemeanor. This investigation is ongoing with the Spokane County Sheriff’s Office Traffic Unit.
