Caroline died peacefully at her home in Hillsborough, CA after a long struggle with breast cancer.


The beloved daughter of Drs.

Arthur and Joan Craig, Spokane Washington, and wife of Dr. Damian Augustyn, she was a practicing physician in Burlingame for over 25 years.

A graduate of Stanford University and the University of Colorado School of Medicine, she completed her training at California Pacific Medical Center in San Francisco.

She was dedicated to providing the best, most attentive care to her many patients.

She was equally devoted to her children, Catherine Elizabeth, Princeton graduate, now an MBA-MPH candidate at Dartmouth, and Damian Alexander, Hamilton graduate, now a banker in San Francisco.

She was married for 35 years to her devoted husband and best friend, Dr. Damian Augustyn whose practice is in San Francisco.

She worked for many years with her good friend and partner, Dr. Aileen Whelan.

Caroline is survived by her parents in Spokane, her sister Ann Elizabeth Napoli (Gregg) San Francisco, and brothers Brad Craig (Suzanne) Burlingame, Dr. Paul Craig (Dr. Joni Nichols) Spokane, David Craig (Cathy) Redmond, Washington, Andrew Craig (Brenda) Spokane, and 13 nieces and nephews, Francene Augustyn Newbury (Michael) Tampa, Florida and Stephen Augustyn, Seattle.

A celebration of her life will be held at Skylawn Memorial Park on Sunday, June 24 at 2:00 p.m.
