CdA defeats Lewiston for 5A baseball consolation

BOISE – Coeur d’Alene scored in the bottom of the eighth inning Saturday and beat Lewiston 7-6 in the consolation championship of the 5A state tournament at Boise Hawks Memorial Stadium.

Joe Roletto had two hits and drove in three runs and Sean Sutton added two RBIs for the Vikings.

Coeur d’Alene beat Highland in last year’s consolation championship.

Kyler Brooks drove in four runs for the Bengals.
