One of 10 children, Jim was born on February 20, 1928 in Spokane and passed away peacefully on May 15, 2012.
Jim’s father was the owner of E.C.
Lumber Co. in Spokane.
He attended Shattuck Military School in Fairbault, MN, graduating in 1946, then went on to attend UCLA.
He joined the Army during the Korean War and was stationed in Germany.
He married Joanne Zobbi on December 11, 1978 and was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Spokane Valley.
Jim is survived by his wife of 33 years; half-brother Charles and Half-sister Letha; he was grandpa to Christopher and Alison, and was also survived by numerous nephews and nieces.
He was very much loved and will be remembered by family and friends.
At his request, no service will be held.
