Obituary: Schultz, William Grant “Bill”

SCHULTZ,
William Grant
“Bill” (Age 53)

Our beloved husband, father, son, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin and friend, Bill Schultz passed away on October 21, 2011 after a courageous fight against cancer.

His will to beat cancer and other health issues carried him through one and a half years enabling him to spend priceless time with his family here in Spokane and eventually allowing him to reunite with his wife Tammy and daughter Zondra in North Port, FL.

He cherished the time he spent with all of us but nothing compared to the joy he felt spending time with his precious little Zondra.

Although their reunion was short lived, they were happier than ever and enjoyed their life as a family again.
Bill was born on May 21, 1958 to Al and Mary Ann Schultz in Dearborn, MI.

Although his parents divorced when he was very young, he was blessed with and loved by a very large extended family.

He is survived by his wife Tammy and daughter Zondra Schultz; parents Al and Annette Schultz and Ruth Ann and Wilhelm Dreyer; sisters Denise (Sam) Polley, Audrey (Ray) Watkins, Donna Davis, Deanna (Duane) Henderson, Melanie (Doug) Soltero, Kris Robbins, Julie (Keith) Howard and brother Steve Becker (Katy); numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Bill worked in the flooring and tile installation business for most of his adult life.

Inheriting his craftsmanship and creativity from his talented father, he was also a handyman who could build anything.

Many of us are lucky to have everlasting memories of Bill’s work in our homes.

Our family would like to give special thanks and appreciation to our sister Denise, brother-in-law Sam and nephew Matt for their love and care giving.

We would also like to thank Hospice of Port Charles, FL.

The family is hosting a private celebration of Bill’s life on his birthday, May 21, 2012.
