STREICHER, Nora “Nell”
(Age 88)
Died May 17th at her family home of 49 years.
She was born July 22, 1923.
Orphaned at the age 5, after spending time in various orphanages was adopted by Florence Folgard.
She attended Holy Names Academy and served in the US Navy during WWII stationed in Washington, DC.
She was preceded in death by her husband Gordon.
She was a homemaker but enjoyed sewing/knitting and crocheting for her friends and family; enjoyed her weekly bingo game at SYSA and loved animals.
She treated all she came in contact with like family and was truly loved by all.
Nell is survived by daughter Betty and son-in-law Charlie; son Alan and daughter-in-law Doris; granddaughter Erin; grandson Jim and his wife Lisa; two great-grandchildren Brittany and Tanner.
Visitation 12-8PM Wednesday May 23rd at Heritage and Funeral Service 11AM Thursday May 24th at Heritage Chapel.
