Annouchka was born February 9, 1940 in Paris, France, making her the fourth child of Julien and Simone Jeannot.

In 1964, she met her husband Kermit Anderson, and they were married in Munich, Germany.

In 1965, Spokane became her new home, where she raised her family, did the bookkeeping for her husband’s business, acquired the American love of pets, and became a naturalized U.S. citizen.
She was a volunteer animal handler for the Spokane County exhibit at Expo 74, a volunteer translator/host for the Goodwill Games, and welcomed Vietnamese refugees into her home at the fall of Saigon.
France still held a place in her heart, and she kept in constant contact with family and friends there.
She loved books, classical music, and the ocean at Cannon Beach.

She was true to her faith and courageous in her fight against cancer, which took her life on March 26, 2012.
Annouchka was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Pierre-Yves, and sister Genevieve as a young child.

She is survived by her sister, Marie-ThÊrèse; her husband Kermit; children Diana (Chuck); Kjell (Jennifer); Bjorn; and Solvejg (Dean); grandchildren Christopher, Alex, Kjelsey, Erik and Kaare; sister-in-law Claude; and numerous aunts, cousins, nephews, nieces, and close friends across three continents.
