Replace law with what?

After reading the article in the paper on May 18 about Kathy Watson and her concern about having her medical coverage being denied if the U.S. Supreme Court overturns President Barack Obama’s health coverage law, I think we should all think about the fact that we could have similar problems ourselves.

Watson, who was against the Health Care Act, found herself being denied by her insurance company for pre-existing conditions. Under the new law, she was able to get coverage at a reasonable price. As she stated, if it was not for this act she would be dead by now.

I am constantly hearing from Mitt Romney and the Republicans that they plan on overturning the Obamacare law if the Supreme Court does not. I have not heard what they will propose in its place.

Will we go back to the way it was prior to this law? What do we do for people such as Kathy, who are in the same situation?
