Passed away May 21, 2012 at the age of 85.

Arlene was born in Salt Lake City, UT to Earl and Ingrid Kinsman.

She married Dale C. Dearden August 11, 1948 in Salt Lake City then raised four children in their Spokane home since 1970.

Arlene was a wonderful wife, mother and grand-mother, who was totally devoted to loving and caring for her family.

Arlene could make a fantastic meal out of next to nothing; could stretch a dollar further than you think it should go; sew, knit or crochet anything your heart desired.

In addition to loving and nurturing her family and friends, Arlene loved animals - whether it was the family pet, a stray that showed up on the porch or the wildlife that wandered into the yard.

Arlene was a unique, beautiful and kind-hearted soul and will be missed by everyone that knew and loved her.

Arlene is survived by her husband of 64 years Dale; son Terry; son Bruce and wife Kathy; daughter Sherri and husband Tom; son Bryan and wife Michelle; two grandchildren Heather and husband Alex, and Jason; three great-grandchildren Chiara, Emery and Amber; and sister-in-law Jo Kinsman.

Visitation Tuesday, May 29, 2012 from 2-8 pm at Ball & Dodd Funeral Home.

A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, May 30, 2012, 10am at Sunset Chapel, Fairmount Memorial Park.
