Passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by those who loved him, on May 18, 2012.

Preston was born in Woodston, Kansas to AnnaPearl and Howard Dibble and had one brother, Harold.

He is survived by two sons, Gary and Doyle and one daughter, Patricia.

He is preceded in death by two sons, Alan and Dana.

He has six granchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Preston joined the Army in 1938 after graduating high school.

He was stationed in San Diego until his departure to WWII where he served in Europe.

After the military, Preston ended his working career after retiring as a billposter from Markham Industries in 1986.

He enjoyed fishing, gardening, golf and poker.

A Celebration of his life will be held at his home (3802 E Bridgeport)on Saturday, June 2, 2012 at 2:00, with Military Honors being presented at 3:00.
