Obituary: Pallaria, Debora

Age 54

PALLARIA, Deborah
(Age 54)

Debbie was born on 16 January, 1958 in Washington, DC and passed away peacefully on 10 May, 2012 in her home with her husband at her side after a courageous 2.5 year fight with pancreatic cancer.
In the early years, she grew up as a child traveling with her parents through the Midwest on a circus circuit during the summers and moved to North Dakota through the winter months.

At age five, the family settled in ND where she joined her extended family homestead until she was eight.

Debbie spent the remainder of her growing years in western WA, graduated cum-laude from Stanwood High School and was the first of her generation to graduate from a four-year college.

She received BSN degree as a Registered Nurse and worked in Washington, Texas and Philadelphia, PA where she was commissioned as a Navy Nurse Corps Officer.

It’s there she married her husband Joe and spent the next 25 years raising two children and traveling the globe as a military spouse.
Debbie spent eight years living outside CONUS with two in the Republic of Turkey, three in Japan and another three in Alaska.

She also lived in Massachusetts, Ohio and South Carolina before the family settled in Spokane.

Throughout the years she worked as a Registered Nurse in a variety of clinical settings and last worked at the Veterans Administration in Spokane.
She is survived by her husband Joe; daughter Sarah and son Joey.

She also leaves behind sisters Bonnie Fure, Mary Jo Booth; and brother David Bosley.

Debbie was an incredible person with impeccable character that stood on her strong principles of integrity and leadership.

She will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved her.
A life well-lived
is one that moves in forward motion, for nothing stays the same.
A celebration of life ceremony will be held at their home in Spokane Valley where Military honors will be observed on 17 June, 2012, 1PM - 4PM
