Prep roundup: CV loses third-place soccer match

Central Valley capped its best season in school history by taking home the fourth-place trophy following a 3-1 loss to Bellarmine Prep at the boys State 4A soccer championships at Spark Stadium in Puyallup.

It marks the first state boys soccer trophy for CV, which knocked off Emerald Ridge in the first round and Davis in the quarterfinals before falling to eventual state champion Skyview in its first semifinal appearance.
