2 home invasion robberies in Spokane

From staff and wire reports
SPOKANE — There were two home invasion robberies overnight in Spokane, and a homeowner was wounded in one of them. Police say two robbers entered a home on the 900 block of East Princeton Avenue late Tuesday night and shot a homeowner in the leg. He was one of three adults and two children in the north side home. About an hour later, early Wednesday, there was another home invasion on the 4400 block of East 46th Avenue in which two masked men with guns entered a home, KHQ reported. Police told KHQ six people were in the South Hill home at the time, including one child. No one was injured. The men apparently were there less than a minute and were looking for something specific, KHQ said. They found what they wanted, then left.
