Religion Notebook: Cows key to carnival at Trinity

Trinity Catholic School, 1306 W. Montgomery Ave., will present “The Greatest Plop on Earth,” its 22nd annual Cow Plop fundraiser, Saturday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. or after the third plop.

The event will include a street carnival, pony rides, games, face painting, music, food and two cows for plopping.

Proceeds will benefit the school.

There is a possible $3,100 prize for first place and 50 other cash prizes.

Southern gospel quartet Blackwood Legacy will perform at several locations this week.

Speaker event

Healing Rooms Ministries, 112 E. First Ave., will present speaker Graham Cooke with worship by Kelanie Gloecker today and Friday at 7 p.m.

Cooke has spoken throughout the world and consults with churches and organizations looking to transition toward a higher dimension of corporate life in the spirit.
