Creature Feature: Izzy, a Basenji mix

<!-- Feature creature  -->

Izzy is an adult female Basenji mix. She’s been at the Spokane County Regional Animal Protection Service shelter since Oct. 13. Since then, shelter workers said, she has proved to be smart, loyal and eager to learn. She is playful and knows how to sit and shake. Izzy is housetrained, walks easily on a leash and gets along with other dogs. She should not, however, be in a home with cats.

Please refer to the pet’s ID number when contacting SCRAPS with questions about one of the adoptable pets. If you are interested in this dog or any animal at SCRAPS, call (509) 477-2532 or come by the shelter 2421 N. Flora Road, Spokane Valley. Dog adoptions are $87.04 and include spay or neuter, first set of vaccinations, health check, microchip and first year’s license.
