Billig leadership impressive

In the race for state Senate, I am supporting Andy Billig because of his small-business experience, his commitment to our community, his support for quality education, and his strong leadership skills. I was particularly impressed by Andy when he stepped up to support a community effort I was helping organize. Andy endorsed our project and did not hesitate to volunteer to serve on the governing board if our efforts were successful.

Equally impressive was his immediate grasp of the connectivity between health, education, affordable housing and all facets of transportation, and how access to them contributes to economic growth.

As a former city of Spokane administrator, I understand the complexity of the challenges and opportunities facing our community. I believe Andy has the vision and the skills needed to serve as our next state senator and to continue delivering positive results for Spokane.

Andy has earned my vote.
