EMERSON, Jacob

Peacefully passed away on October 28, 2012, in his home in Spokane Valley, WA.

Jacob was born January 17, 1928, in Ford, WA.

In 1945, Jacob joined the US Navy.

He honorably served his country aboard the USS Rogers.

After his discharge from the service, Jacob returned to Spokane and moved in with the Lucas family.

He returned to work for the City of Spokane, and retired in 1992.

Jacob was a friend to everyone he met and will be missed by all who knew him.
Jacob is survived by his sister-in-law, two nieces, and their families, all of Spokane.
Visitation will be Monday, November 5, 2012, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Hazen & Jaeger Funeral Home, 1306 N. Monroe St., Spokane.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, November 6, 2012, at 1:00 p.m. in the Alwin Chapel of the funeral home.
