FUNK, Anita

Anita was born April 22, 1937 in Libby, Montana to William and Corinne Baeth.

She was blessed with two children, Connie and Randy Lamey, and was married to Alvin Funk in 1974.


Anita worked for Northwest Insurance Company, Utter Cadillac and Oxarc welding before retiring in 2008.

After Al’s retirement they enjoyed spending winters in Arizona.

Anita is survived by husband Alvin, and daughter Connie Klein, grandchildren Corrine and Dave Gunderson, Jason and Vanessa Klein, Jaime and Joe Baune, Trevor Klein, Jordan Carlson, Randi Lamey, and Ryley and Presleigh Oschsner, great-grandchildren Cailtin, Brandon, Alexis, and Joshua Gunderson, Madalinn, Aden, and Paige Klein, and Brooklyn Baune.

She is also survived by her brother Bill and Joyce Baeth, sister Becky, Dianne and Dan Keller, and Carla and Joe Foti along with many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends especially Shirley Wright and grand-dog Lucky.

Anita’s love for her family and friends was a reflection of the caring and courageous woman that she was, and even in her passing Anita exhibited remarkable grace and strength.

Assumption Parish will be hosting a Rosary Service on Sunday at 5:00pm and a Funeral Mass on Monday at 11:00am.
