On Saturday afternoon October 27, 2012 Brigitte Lankford joined the Lord and by her side was her husband and children.
Brigitte Lankford was born November 18, 1944 in Germany to Leo and Theresa Binderberger and for another ten years raised by her Oma and Wohlfrom family.
Brigitte then became a U.S. citizen after moving to Spokane, WA.
While attending Shadle Park High School Brigitte met her prince charming Don, they married in 1963 and were blessed with many memorable and loving years, recently celebrating their 48th anniversary.
Brigitte worked as a dental assistant for a few short years before embarking on her very rewarding career, stay at home wife and mother.
Brigitte is survived by her husband Don, son, Jeff, daughter, Kirsten, two grandsons Austin and Jason and dog Scooter.
It is with great sorrow and incredible loss that Brigitte has joined God after a lengthy battle with cancer.
Not a day will go by that she is not missed by her husband, children, grandsons and close friends.
Those that really knew Brigitte will remember her for her love for her family, her kindness, generosity and especially her love of nature and animals.
Brigitte is now at peace, free of pain and in heaven watching closely over her family.
WE LOVE YOU MOM, your daughter and son forever.
Funeral services were held with her immediate family only.
