Mr.

Alfred John Roy of Spokane, Washington left to be with his Lord and Savior on October 31, 2012.

Alfred was born in Harrison, Idaho April 26, 1941 to the late Thomas Roy, and late Eunice Burrese.

Alfred was preceded in death by his loving wife of 44 years Lois Macon Roy, his sister Joyce Greenup, and brother Thomas Roy.

Alfred is survived by his three children John Roy and his wife Lisa, Kimberley Simonson and her husband Lonnie and Brian Roy; nine grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren; sister Mary Isham, brother-in-law Clifford Jack and wife Carol, brother-in-law Marvin Jack and wife Rae and sister-in-law Glenda Braaten, stepbrother Bob Burrese; aunt Alice Wilson; numerous nieces and nephews, dear friends John and Linda Wolverton and Rick and Lesley Daugherty.

Alfred was a kind, gentle, and funny man always eager to lend a helping hand.

So many people loved him and he loved so many people.

He will be greatly missed.

A memorial service will be held in Alfred’s honor November 10th at 10am at Fairmount Memorial Park at the Sunset Chapel.
