Aerosmith plays gig at former Boston digs

Thousands of Aerosmith fans watched the band perform on Monday in front of the building in Boston where Steven Tyler, Joe Perry, Brad Whitford, Joey Kramer, and Tom Hamilton once lived.

People hung out windows, crowded fire escapes and stood on roofs on Commonwealth Avenue to watch a free concert meant to encourage voting and promote the band’s new album, which comes out today, Election Day.

The band played songs including “Walk this Way,” “Sweet Emotion” and some from their new album, “Music from Another Dimension!”

Osbourne had double mastectomy

Sharon Osbourne said she had a double mastectomy after learning she carries a gene that increases the risk of developing breast cancer. Osbourne told Hello! magazine that “I didn’t want to live the rest of my life with that shadow hanging over me.”

The 60-year-old “America’s Got Talent” judge, who had colon cancer a decade ago, said that without the surgery, “the odds are not in my favor.”

They’re having a baby

Actress Kristen Bell and her fiancé, Dax Shepard, have babies on the brain.

Bell’s representative, Marcel Pariseau, said the couple are expecting their first child in late spring.

Shepard, 37, appears on the NBC drama “Parenthood.” Bell, 32, has a role on Showtime’s “House of Lies.”

The couple, both originally from Michigan, started dating in 2007. They have been engaged for about three years.
