Jason Sanders of Troop 340 was recently awarded the rank of Eagle Scout, the highest given in the Boy Scouts.
For his project, Sanders installed crown molding and baseboards in the sanctuary at Latah Valley Presbyterian Church.
He is a senior at Ferris High School and is the son of Craig and Leslie Sanders, of Spokane.
• Mason Hawk, a member of Troop 258, received the rank of Eagle Scout.
Mason led in the design and construction of an awning structure for St. Thomas More School for his project.

Air Force Airman 1st Class Nick Maystadt graduated in 2009 from Shadle Park High School and is the son of Melody Horne, of Spokane. Maystadt earned distinction as an honor graduate.
Air Force Airman Zachary Myhre is a 2007 graduate of Bellingham High School and the son of Tim Myhre, of Spokane. He earned distinction as an honor graduate.
Air Force Airman 1st Class Emily McDurman is the daughter of Jennifer Bohannon, of Spokane, and Douglas McDurman, of Krebs, Okla. She graduated from Ferris High School in 2007.
Air Force Airman 1st Class Tyler Fordham is a 2010 graduate of West Valley High School and the son of Caroline Siderius, of Spokane, and Keith Fordham, of Mobile, Ala.
