(Age 62)

Of Spokane WA, formerly of East Providence, Rhode Island, died November 5, 2012 at Hospice House of Spokane.

Bill was the son of the late William F. Black Sr. and Ann M. (Lannon) Black.

A graduate of East Providence High School, he attended Roger Williams College in Providence before working for RI Hospital Trust Bank.

He was a credit manager for General Electric Credit Corp before moving to Spokane to work for Pacific Electric.

Before retiring Bill worked for several long haul trucking companies in the Pacific Northwest.

After retiring he was a foster grandparent with Catholic Charities.

Bill is survived by a son, William F. Black III and his wife Megan of East Providence RI; a daughter, Meghan Black of Tiverton RI; two grandsons: Sean W. and James M. Black; and sister, Ann J. Myers of Cranston RI.

Bill left behind numerous friends in the Spokane area, particularly Dennis Overby and Pauline Young.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Rhode Island, with burial in St. Francis Cemetery, Pawtucket, RI.
