Whitworth’s White earns All-NWC honor

Whitworth junior outside hitter Jalana White (Post Falls) was named to the All-Northwest Conference volleyball second team, the conference announced on Tuesday.

White, who started all 23 games, finished the season with 300 kills, No. 2 in the conference. She had eight double-doubles this season.

Puget Sound junior OH Jackie Harvey was named NWC Player of the Year.

Arena football

The Spokane Shock have been assigned offensive lineman Rodney Huntley (UTEP) and wide receivers Kamar Jorden (Bowling Green) and Brandon Kinnie (Nebraska).
