S. Jean
(Age 89)

Sarah Jean Alspach was born October 28, 1923 to George and Fannie Davis in Indian Head, Saskat- chewan, Canada and passed away on November 7, 2012 after a short illness.

In 1952 she married S. Grant Alspach.

They
lived in Indian Head before they moved to Parma, Idaho in 1956.

Jean and Grant moved several times over the years and in 1974 they bought the Sears catalog store in Ritzville, WA.

They retired in 1989 and remained in Ritzville until Grant passed away in March 2008.

Jean moved back to Davenport to live near her son Roy.

In December 2010 she moved back to Ritzville to live in the Rose Garden Estates and in October 2011 she moved to the Life Care Center of Ritzville.


Survivors include her son, Roy (Susan) of Davenport, WA; granddaughter, Jamie Alspach of Bellevue, WA; grandson, Brett Alspach of Port Orchard, WA; and sister Peggy Bremner of Coquitlam, BC.

Jean enjoyed baking, gardening, and visiting with friends.


At her request there will be no service.

Memorials may be sent to Ritzville Fire Department, Ritzville Pet Rescue or a charity of choice.
