FUNK, James Carl
Jim passed away September 11, 2012 at his home in Spokane, WA.
He was born January 16, 1957 in Yakima, WA to James and Barbara (Maling) Funk and was preceded in death by his father, Jim, and sister, Sharon.
He is survived by his mother Barbara Funk of Tacoma, sisters Bobbi (Rod) Gamper of Federal Way, Jodi Funk of Seattle, aunts, uncles, Kathy McGregor, and several nieces and nephews.
Jim was raised in Tacoma, later Deep Lake, attending Colville High School and returned to Tacoma where he graduated from Curtis High School.
Shortly after graduation he moved to and settled in Spokane.
Jim cherished his time at Deep Lake and later Deer Lake, spending time fishing, boating, and hunting.
He will be remembered for his great sense of humor and for the fun-loving times he spent with his family and friends.
A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
