Shirley passed away in her home, surrounded by family October 19, 2012. She was born June 12, 1939 in Grand Junction, Colorado, raised in San Diego, California and moved to Spokane in 1968 with husband Jim and their five children.
Shirley is survived by sons David House, (California), Joe House (Spokane); and daughter, Teresa Blackburn (Texas). Also survived by grandsons Matthew House (wife Amanda) (California), Cameron Blackburn (wife Nicolle) (Spokane), Brandon and Tyler Blackburn (Spokane), Drew, Casey and Ryan Blackburn (Texas) and Jake Blackburn (Colorado). She was preceded in death by her husband Jim, daughter Sherry, son Jamie (all of Spokane) and her daughter-in-law Joy House (California).
Shirley’s family and friends will miss her greatly.
