Snow expected for Monday morning commute
With one to four inches of snow expected overnight in the Spokane and Coeur d’Alene areas, the National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory effective until 4 p.m. Monday.
The heaviest snowfall is expected during Monday morning’s commute.
The fresh white blanket could soon fade, however. Rain is expected to follow the snow and temperatures are forecast in the upper 30s. The snow level should rise to 3,000 feet by Monday afternoon, according to the National Weather Service.
