American flags thrown to ground in Pullman

Police say about 10 American flags were maliciously thrown to the ground early this morning in Pullman. Just after 1 a.m., citizens reported the flags were taken from their holders on a stretch of roadway along Bishop Boulevard from the Denny’s Restaurant to the Pullman Regional Hospital, said Commander Chris Tennant of the Pullman Police Department. Officer Doug Anderson responded to help pick them up from the street and rest them against nearby poles. Tennant believes the suspect was walking west during the vandalism spree. Police are looking for a suspect or suspects.
