Threatening texts lead to Spokane stabbing

SPOKANE — Police say an exchange of threatening texts escalated to a stabbing in a north Spokane neighborhood.

Sgt. Kevin King says one man went to the other’s home early this morning and they started fighting.

News reports say the victim called 911 and was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening stab wounds to his stomach, arm and head.

The suspect was found nearby and jailed for investigation of first-degree assault.
