After a two-game snub, Jozy Altidore is back on the U.S. men’s soccer roster for its final game of the season, an exhibition against Russia. Altidore was among the 20 players named by coach Jurgen Klinsmann for today’s game ( 7 a.m., ESPN2) against the Russians, ranked ninth in the world, in Krasnodar. Klinsmann had dropped Altidore from the roster for a pair of critical World Cup qualifiers because he was disappointed with the forward’s performance. Also returning to the roster is defender Timmy Chandler, a German-American who refused to play in World Cup qualifiers which would have bound him to the U.S. team. – Associated Press
