Holding the line
Injuries have taken their toll on WSU’s offensive line this season.
First, left tackle Rico Forbes went down with a season-ending knee injury in fall camp. Left tackle Gunnar Eklund is out with a hand injury suffered against Utah. Dan Spitz left the team weeks ago.
So WSU is down to six healthy bodies – its starting five of Jake Rodgers, John Fullington, Elliott Bosch, Matt Goetz and Wade Jacobson, plus backup Zach Brevick – before coaches have to start getting creative.
