Her parents, Clarence and Lena Tapley, brother also preceded her in death. As did her three cousins, who lived with them, Tillie Tracy, Albert Munn and Ann Brown. Betty is survived by her sons, Alfred C. Hansen of Coeur D’ Alene (her daughter in law Jackie Hansen) and Clarence M. Hansen of Spokane; grandchildren Tiffany, Chad and Derek Hansen; her sister Clara D. Sears and many cousins. Betty worked many different jobs from telephone and telegraph operator at Columbus, Kansas, office jobs at Portland, Oregon shipyard, Hanford, WA to bookkeeper for Cabinet Works and Wilson Logging and finally retiring after 40 plus years working for Naval Supply Depot at Velox, Federal Housing Administration at Kennewick and Spokane and US Postal Service.
