Age 85
HERNER-TIPTON, Joan Joan Herner-Tipton went to be with our Lord on November 14th, 2012 at Sacred Heart Hospital. She was born August 5th, 1927 in Liverpool, England to parents Amelia and James Cosgrove. She married Frank S. Herner Sr., on December 16th, 1950, while he was stationed in England with the Army Air Corps. Joan dedicated her life to raising their five children, but did also work as a seamstress and a nanny after her children were grown. She is survived by four of her children: Frank S. She was born August 5th, 1927 in Liverpool, England to parents Amelia and James Cosgrove. She married Frank S. Herner Sr., on December 16th, 1950, while he was stationed in England with the Army Air Corps. Joan dedicated her life to raising their five children, but did also work as a seamstress and a nanny after her children were grown. She is survived by four of her children: Frank S. Herner Jr., Danette Barrett, Michael Herner in Spokane, and Christina Oliveira of Murietta, California. She is preceded in death by her husband Frank S. Herner Sr., and her daughter Debra McKee. She will be sadly missed by all her family and friends. There will be a Memorial Service at the Sunset Chapel, Fairmount Memorial Park, Saturday, November 24th at 2:30p.m.
