Putting bins to good use
I have a small household and thought, “What the heck am I going to do with that enormous blue bin?” I’ll tell you what I am doing with it. I am using it for everything I can. I am giving a better future to the generations coming by recycling.
Although I did recycling before, it was like a practice run for the real thing. I am now putting probably a good 80 percent of my waste, if not more, into the recycle bin. There is so much more we can put in them now and it is pretty hassle-free. I have even changed my buying habits on a few things so I can recycle more.
I encourage people to quit griping and use them. We are so fortunate to have this available. Believe me, with an every-two-week pick-up (which reduces fuel use), each of us can do a little more to make this world a little better by something as simple as recycling.
