Failure to yield, ISP says: A Subaru Legacy driven by John Cheatham, 39, was struck by a train Wednesday morning at the Grange Avenue crossing in Post Falls after Idaho State Police say he failed to yield to an oncoming train. The Union Pacific train carried the Subaru to the crossing at Chase Road. Cheatham, who the ISP said wasn’t wearing a seat belt, was transported to Kootenai Medical Center for treatment.
