It’s seniors’ day

Defections have dwindled Washington State’s senior class this season, but the Cougars will still say goodbye to some key contributors today.

Of the 13 players putting on a WSU uniform for the final time, five are likely to start, and nine have started or played often at some point in their career.

Jeff Tuel, the Cougars’ starting quarterback, will be honored as a senior but may still return if he is granted a medical redshirt by the NCAA for the chunk of time he missed in the 2011 season. Tuel will start against the Huskies.
