Elderly man still missing

Spokane Valley Sheriff’s Deputies are still searching for 71-year-old Samuel H. Counts of Spokane Valley, who was reported missing Friday. Counts, who has dementia, left his home in the 4900 block of East Ninth Ave. at about 3 p.m. Friday to go to a local store. Counts was last seen driving a white 2012 Kia sedan with Washington license plate AJD4999. He was wearing a red and black jacket, jeans and white tennis shoes.
