Obituary: Quigley, Thomas J.

Age 81

QUIGLEY, Thomas J. Tom Quigley passed away peacefully on November 25th, 2012 in the presence of his adoring wife, Suzanne.

The couple recently celebrated their 54th wedding anniversary.

Tom was blessed to spend a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend with his wife, daughters Jackie Driscoll and Jamie Van Wormer, their husbands and his four grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Mamie and Jack and his brother, Glenn.

He was born on March 26th, 1931 in Spokane, Washington.

He was a veteran of the Navy and served during the Korean War.

Tom was a skilled neon craftsman.

He founded and operated City Neon Sign Company for fifty years.

What Tom enjoyed most was spending time with his best friend and wife, Sue and the rest of his family.

He was vibrant and energetic, enjoyed playing cards and went on long walks every day.

Tom appreciated simple things, the outdoors and the beauty of nature.

He was gentle, patient, kind and had a loving spirit.

Tom’s memorial service will be held at St. Thomas More Chapel on Monday, December 3rd at 11:30 a.m. with a reception at the church immediately following.
