Obituary: Ferguson, Leonard

Age 86

FERGUSON, Leonard (Age 87) Leonard passed away on November 24, 2012 in Spokane, WA.

Born in Portland, OR on December 31, 1925 to Leonard and Doris Ferguson, Leonard lived most of his life in the Spokane Valley.

He served in the United States Navy, fighting in the Asiatic Theater during World War II.

He came home and became an electrician for both Tingling & Powell and then General Electric where he retired.

He was a lifetime member of the Masonic Temple, earning his 50 year pin.

He was married August 1, 1948 to Betty Herman who preceded him in death, along with their youngest daughter, Nancy Gardner.

He is survived by his daughter, Cheryl (Mark) Miller; granddaughters, Jaime (Jeff) Rees and Jennifer (Andrew) Moore; grandsons, John Gardner and Andy Gardner; and great-granddaughter, Ella Moore, all of Spokane, WA.

A Graveside Service with military honors will be held on Friday, November 30, 2012 at 2:00pm, at Spokane Memorial Gardens, 5909 S. Cheney-Spokane Road, Spokane, WA.
