More money for education

Upon reading your Nov. 24 article on education mandates, I was dumbfounded by the amount of controversy over whether or not to put money into our schools. I personally think we should be funding our schools as much as possible because we are educating our future, and the less we educate them now the more we might pay for it in the long run.

This is felt especially by Running Start students, who are having to pay for more and more of their own college educations because of a decrease in state funding. Honestly, it’s beginning to seem like they’re punishing the smart students for being too smart. This is just my opinion, however.
