Obituary: Ingram, Erle
Age 61
He was born in Spokane, WA, April 2, 1951 to Sylvester Ross Ingram and Elizabeth Ann Fountain.
He attended Sacred Heart grade school and graduated from Joel E. Ferris High School and then served four years in the United States Marine Corps.
He worked at Kaiser Mead until it closed and then went to work at Peirone Produce.
In the 61 years of his life, Erle made a huge impact with all whom he met.
Erle was always known as an extremely hard worker who gave attention to details, always being the first on the job and the last to leave.
He was very generous with his time and resources, helping all he could.
Even in death, he helped two people see with the donation of his corneas.
He loved the outdoors, biking, camping with his family, hang-gliding and working on cars.
He also had a mischevious sense of humor.
He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Valerie (Renner) Ingram, his daughter Tina (Ingram) Rehm, son Michael and wife Chanda, and son Scott, all of Spokane; seven grandchildren: Joshua Ingram-Rehm, Jayden Rehm, Kirynn Rehm, Karson Rehm in Spokane, and Mailey Ingram, Alisyia Ingram and Emmalea Ingram in Coeur d’Alene, ID.
He is also survived by his brothers and sisters Paul (Catherine) Reedsport, OR; Gail (Olen) Freeman, Reedsport, OR; Cheryl Fugett, Denver, CO; Kim (Chan) Ingram, Spokane; Robin Greer, Lakeside, OR; Jean (Loi) Chan, Vancouver, WA; brothers-in-law Alex Renner, Paul (Sheila) Renner, Christian (Kathy) Renner and Michael Renner all of Spokane, and a brother-in-law Adolf (Anna) Renner in Ukraine; sisters-in-law Angie (George) Petticrew in Nine Mile Falls, WA and Emma Sokolova in Ukraine; and many aunts, uncles and nieces, nephews and cousins.
He will be missed by all.
A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, December 1 at 12:00 p.m. at Holy Cross Cemetery Chapel, 7200 N. Wall, Spokane with Military Honors.
A potluck reception will follow at the Sons of Norway, 6710 N. Country Homes Blvd.
