(McMaster) Ranee Rohwer of Sun City, AZ passed away of complications due to a lengthy battle with Parkinson’s Disease on Monday, November 26, 2012 at Sun Grove Village Care Center, Sun City, AZ at the age of 64 years young.
Ranee was born in Wahpeton, ND on May 3, 1948 to Jerome and Lois (Hubrig) McMaster.
She was confirmed at Zion Lutheran Church in Spokane Valley, WA in 1963.
After graduation from West Valley High School in Spokane Valley, WA in 1966, Ranee went from a Secretary, Beautician, to an E-5 Civil Engineer, while a loving and nurturing mother to her two children Ronda Gilbert and Greg Straub.
Ranee was a member of a list of organizations including numerous Equestrian/Horse Clubs and the American Kennel Association where grooming, breeding and showing her championed Poodles was a highlight in her life.
After moving to Arizona, she became a member of the Sun City Fountain of Life Lutheran Church.
Ranee was preceded in death by her father, Jerome McMaster (Sun City, AZ) on September 4, 2001.
Ranee is survived by her mother, Lois McMaster of Sun City, AZ; brother, Rande (Veva) McMaster of Greenacres, WA; sister, Robin (Kim) Caudill of Spokane Valley, WA; daughter, Ronda Gilbert of Spokane Valley, WA; son, Greg (Aretha) Straub of Spokane Valley, WA; three grandsons, all of Spokane Valley, WA - Eric (Kayla) Crocker, Cody and Jordan Straub; great-granddaughter, Rylee Crocker, and another great-grandchild on the way; and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
Private graveside services were held on Thursday, November 29, 2012 at Sunland Memorial Park in Sun City, AZ.
