Sad over recent elections

I am desolate since the election. I wake up every morning with a feeling of deep sadness and disbelief.

Four years of tea party rallies. Outcries of “stop the spending!” Outrage over the Obamas’ lavish vacations, opulent lifestyle and hobnobbing with Hollywood on the taxpayers’ dime.

Exposés of tsars, Communists and Marxists in the White House. Illegal executive orders. Fast and Furious and Benghazi cover-ups. Shutdown of energy production. A weakened military and diminished world opinion.

Overwhelming debt and crippling regulation. Devastating unemployment. Businesses hanging on by their fingernails, or fleeing the country.

America in decline.

We had a great opportunity to turn this around and save the country with a capable and honorable candidate. Now that hope is gone. I believe the country is lost.

I could cry a river.
