Biviano tactics are inappropriate

After a quick perusal of the latest mailer from the Amy Biviano campaign, I concluded that it represents a shrill exercise in the basest of smear tactics by a campaign that is floundering. The allegations and half-truths are very disappointing coming from someone I thought to be above that sort of thing.

That Matt Shea was indeed cited for an expired concealed carry permit is fact. What is not true, however, are the rest of Biviano’s assertions, and her manipulation of events and witness testimony.

There is no similarity between what the witnesses really said versus how Biviano spun their comments. The police record on file validates my concerns. Her playing fast and loose with facts is inappropriate, unless of course her intent is to mislead.

Regardless of Biviano’s imaginative tactics, there remains only one basic question: Do you really want her to represent you in Olympia?
