ROEDEL, Victor J.
Passed away in Spokane, WA on September 30, 2012.
Victor was born on June 9, 1923 to Jacob and Emma Roedel, at Jamestown, N.D.
He lived most of his life in the city of Spokane, WA.
He served in WWII on the European front, sixteen months in England and fifteen months in France.
He was a life member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Post #1474 in Hillyard.
He retired from ASD Industry after 29 years being in the aluminum business.
He was an avid stamp collector and a member of the Northwest Federation of Stamp Clubs, local Inland Empire Philatelic Society.
He met his wife, Avos Worley in 1953 and they were married on October 10 of that year.
Together they shared many happy hours camping, traveling, reading and just walking.
He is survived by sister in law, Rowene Easter, several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by both parents and his brother, and his wife, Avos who passed away on September 19, 2012.
He will be laid to rest in Spokane Memorial Gardens.
